Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Christmas Eve this year was fun for Miles because there were kids to play with!

Miles even got his first kiss!

After dinner, desserts, and presents, we went home to get ready for Teetas! (This is how Miles pronounced Santa.)

The next morning was fun for us because !iles was really excited to see what Santa brought for him! He got a Star Wars apron that matched the one I got.

He was most excited about his slide! He would climb up, say “thank you Teetas,” and then slide down. Over and over!

After we finished openi giftsat home, we went to Meema and Peepa’s house to exchange gifts with them and Aunt Allison, Aunt Michelle, and Uncle Mark. Miles got a lot of great gifts. Like toy trucks!

And a bike!

Next stop was Grandmom and Pop’s house where everyone opens their presents at the same time which apparently doesn’t give us a chance to take picture of Miles opening gifts. So here’s some pictures of him with his cousins.

Five kids. Five cameras. Five eye directions.

And some nice pictures of us with Miles.

O, Christmas Tree!

This year was Miles’s second Christmas, but the first where he was able to help us decorate the tree. He had a great time!

ABCs!

We’re pretty backed up on our blogging here. A lot has happened since we cut down our Christmas tree. Not least of which was Christmas itself. But last night I managed to get a video of Miles singing the ABCs and I think it’s pretty awesome so I’m putting it in now. Enjoy!

Christmas Village

After tree hunting, we went to a Christmas Village. Since it’s a show of Christmas lights we went at night so pictures generally didn’t come out so great, but here’s a few that look pretty good.

There are over a billion lights at this village, I think. DSC_4729

There is apparently some confusion here over who is taking the picture. DSC_4766

Hunting Down a Tree

As is tradition for the Dickens family, the weekend following Thanksgiving saw us trekking out to PA to find us a Christmas tree.
